A Step Forward in Providing High-Speed ​​Internet in Vietnam

Viettel launches new service marking a step forward in providing high-speed Internet services in Vietnam.

According to a representative of Viettel Ba Ria-Vung Tau, this package group will be provided from April 2025, with a minimum bandwidth of 300 Mbps, up to a maximum of 1Gbps, meeting the increasing data usage needs of users. Specifically, the minimum Internet speed provided by Viettel to customers is equivalent to the average speed of the Top 5 countries with the best Internet infrastructure in the world: Singapore, UAE, Hong Kong (China), France and Iceland.

In addition, new customers are provided with a free WiFi 6 modem, the most advanced WiFi technology today, making Internet access smoother, even when multiple devices are connected at the same time. Wifi 6 can reach theoretical speeds of up to 9.6 Gbps, nearly 3 times faster than before, allowing customers to comfortably download 4K movies, play online games, livestream, and hold online meetings without worrying about interruption or lag.

Viettel also provides Mesh WiFi package, which comes with a coverage extender that helps wifi cover the entire house, with higher speed and stability through just 1 wifi account. With this solution, customers can use wifi smoothly when moving between areas, floors, etc. compared to installing independent wifi transmitters currently available on the market.
