Turning point from the transfer of leadership of Danang Mechanical Association to enterprises

At the 30th anniversary celebration of the Danang Association of Mechanical Engineers (DANASME) held on the afternoon of June 1, Mr. Ha Giang - Chairman of the Association said that previously the Association's leadership was held by a leader of the Danang Department of Industry and Trade.

At the 6th term Congress (2022 - 2027), there was a transfer of leadership of DANASME to the enterprise.

“This is an important turning point for private mechanical enterprises in Da Nang to connect and develop together. From the beginning of 2024 until now, the revenue of DANASME members has increased by 10 - 60% compared to the same period in 2023,” Mr. Ha Giang emphasized.

According to DANASME's report, up to now, there have been more than 80 large mechanical enterprises and mechanical-related enterprises participating in the Association with more than 500 members who are entrepreneurs, mechanical experts, scientists, professors, associate professors, doctors, masters, engineers, college and intermediate level workers and skilled workers with passion and expertise in the profession.

DANASME members have produced, manufactured and supplied to the market many types of quality products such as automobile tires, tugboats, specialized ships, coast guard ships, military ships, screening machines, crushers, dryers, rolling mills, rollers, agricultural machines, exhaust fans, crane beams, lifting equipment, bottling equipment, carbonated beverage technology lines (beer, soft drinks), prefabricated steel buildings, conveyor belts, pressure pipes, molds, electrical cabinets, electrical equipment, conductors, semiconductors, capacitors, galvanized sheet metal, etc.

DANASME also cooperates with domestic and foreign universities to train human resources at the engineer, college, intermediate level, skilled workers for the mechanical industry and other industries; participates in research on many topics, science and technology (S&T) projects at the ministerial, city, and school levels; provides quality consultation and feedback on many projects and works; contributes many opinions on industrial and mechanical development planning, electrical system planning, and human resource development.

“DANASME members constantly research, innovate, actively participate in innovation and science and technology competitions and achieve awards such as Vietnam Golden Star, Vifotech Innovation Award, Vietnamese Brand and are recognized, supported and awarded many prizes, certificates of merit, flags, medals by the people, the business community, the State...”, said Mr. Nguyen The Tranh - Vice President of DANASME.

Since the beginning of the 2022-20277 term, DANASME members have conducted many researches on designing and manufacturing machinery that have won awards at the Vifotech innovation contest. Among them, the manufacturing of fire-resistant air ducts EI60, EI120, FD has become a typical product of Da Nang City in the field of manufacturing materials for the fire protection industry. “In particular, Da Nang City currently has a policy and orientation to focus on developing the semiconductor industry. That requires many potential supporting industrial units to contribute to the development of the city. This is also a new opportunity for DANASME members,” Mr. Ha Giang emphasized.
