Through the new rural construction program, the traffic roads in Tan Lap hamlet, Lo Son commune (Tan Lac) have been conveniently paved.

Gia Mo and Lo Son are communes in the remote areas of Tan Lac district. Previously, the two communes had only one road running through them, Provincial Road 436. In recent years, with the opening of new roads, convenient concrete roads have eliminated the situation of single-way traffic. Along with that, other essential infrastructures such as electricity, schools, medical stations, and irrigation have also been invested in to basically meet the needs of the people. From being the most and second most difficult in the district, Gia Mo and Lo Son communes have now surpassed and been recognized as meeting the NTM standards.

Coming to Tan Lap hamlet, Lo Son commune, we clearly felt the changes of this village. The traffic routes in the hamlet have been paved, households have built surrounding walls, and arranged their gardens in an orderly manner. Ms. Bui Thi Lien, a resident of Tan Lap hamlet, shared: With the attention of the Party and the State, the appearance of the hamlet has changed a lot in recent years. The roads within the hamlet, between hamlets, and between communes have been concreted. In particular, the power lines have been upgraded, and there is no longer a power shortage like before.

To have convenient roads, the people of Lo Son commune have actively promoted their role as the main subject in building the new rural area. Typically, in Ui hamlet, households donated over 3.6 hectares of rice fields to open a wide road running through the rice fields. Mr. Bui Trung Dong, the household that donated land to open the road, shared: Previously, the road was narrow, making it difficult to transport rice and other agricultural products, especially during the rainy and stormy season. But now the road is beautiful, spacious, and conveniently paved with concrete. Each household may lose a little rice field, but the effect is long-term.

According to the report of Tan Lac District People's Committee, by the end of March 2025, the whole district had 10 communes meeting the NTM standards. In 2025, Tan Lac District strives to have 1 more commune meeting the standards (Ngo Luong Commune); Tu Ne, Dong Lai, Thanh Hoi and My Hoa communes strive to meet the advanced NTM standards. Comrade Dinh Duy Khai, Vice Chairman of Tan Lac District People's Committee said: To accelerate the NTM construction program, in recent times, the district has focused on investing in essential infrastructure. Up to now, the whole district has 12/15 communes meeting the criteria for traffic; 14/15 communes meeting the criteria for irrigation and natural disaster prevention; 15/15 communes meeting the criteria for electricity; 12/15 communes meeting the criteria for schools.

In addition, the district promotes the development of commodity-oriented production models, applying science and technology to cultivation and livestock farming. Implementing the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program, the whole district has 21 OCOP products recognized as 3 stars, 1 product as 4 stars. In the coming time, the district will continue to promote the construction of model residential areas, model gardens, summarize, evaluate and replicate throughout the district. Carry out the renovation of village roads and alleys in a civilized and modern direction. Preserve cultural values and national identity. In particular, focus resources on key projects, gradually complete and upgrade projects to meet the criteria for building new rural areas. Prioritize investment in developing rural transport and irrigation systems to meet the needs of trade and irrigation for production.
