The four AFF tournaments will start with a common name, respectively ASEAN Championship (predecessor of AFF Cup, Southeast Asian Championship), ASEAN Club Championship (club championship), ASEAN Women's Championship (women's football championship) and ASEAN U.23 Championship (Southeast Asian U.23 Championship).

The 2024 ASEAN Championship, with its new name, will feature 10 men's football teams from the region competing for the championship from November 23 to December 21 later this year.
Meanwhile, the ASEAN Club Championship returns for the first time since 2005, with a total of 12 strong clubs from 10 countries in the region participating from July 17 to May 2025. Vietnam's V-League will have 2 participating slots, especially clubs are allowed to use 4 foreign players on the field according to the "3+1" regulation (3 foreign players and 1 Asian player) of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

The ASEAN Club Championship is scheduled by the AFF for the season, specifically returning for the 2024-2025 season. The qualifying matches will take place from July. After that, the 12 clubs in the group stage will be divided into 2 groups to compete until February next year. The top 2 teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals and the final in May 2025. The schedule for this tournament will be interspersed with the schedule for national championships in the region.
