TPO – Among the 3,690 full-time graduates of the National Economics University in 2024, four students achieved a perfect score of 4.0/4.0. All four students have impressive academic and scientific research achievements and have official jobs in their majors before graduation.

The National Economics University has 3,690 new graduates in 2024. Of these, 50 are valedictorians; 1,420 are excellent bachelors; more than 600 are bachelors of English-taught programs, including bachelors in Accounting, Auditing with the prestigious international professional certificate ICAEW CFAB (CC in finance, accounting, business), Logistics and supply chain management with the international certificate - AGKN. |
This year, for the first time, the National Economics University has four valedictorians graduating with a perfect score of 4.0/4.0. Specifically, Nguyen Hoang Duong (from Thai Nguyen, majoring in International Business); Mai Xuan Bach (from Hanoi, majoring in Data Science in Economics and Business); Nguyen Khanh Linh (from Thai Binh, majoring in International Economics) and Hoang Mai Huong (from Ha Nam, majoring in Auditing). All four had official jobs in their majors before graduation. |
Nguyen Hoang Duong achieved GPA: 9.59/10 – 4.0/4.0, valedictorian of the 62nd Course. Duong is an outstanding student of the school; won many scholarships; won the Third Prize at the Ministry level, 6 scientific research prizes at the school level; authored 50 scientific research publications, 7 international journal articles, 23 international scientific conference articles... Duong is currently in charge of the import-export sector in an energy company. |
Hoang Mai Huong achieved GPA: 9.38/10 – 4.0/4.0. Huong completed her school program in 3.5 years; received many scholarships; won the Third Prize for Scientific Research at the School level, Second Prize for Scientific Research at the Institute level. Huong is the co-author of a research article published at the 17th International Scientific Conference. Huong is currently working at AASC Auditing Company Limited, as an audit assistant. In the near future, she plans to study for a master's and doctorate degree, completing the ACCA auditing certificate to support her work. |
Nguyen Khanh Linh achieved GPA: 8.42/10 – 4.0/4.0; completed the school program in 3 years; won many scholarships and school-level scientific research awards. Linh is the co-author of a scientific work published in a journal and the author of several international articles, a monograph and international conferences. Currently, the female student from Thai Binh is a specialist at the Department of Economic Zones Management, under the Ministry of Planning and Investment. Linh plans to study for a second degree in law to serve her work and seek opportunities to study for a master's degree in economics. |

Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - Principal of National Economics University awarded the diplomas to the new graduates. Regarding learning methods, the valedictorians have in common the spirit of self-discipline in studying and living; proactively studying the textbooks and lesson content before going to class; focusing on listening to lectures in class, self-studying and doing extra exercises. In addition, they researched documents and materials related to the subject and major. |
Nguyen Da Thu Huong, Public Relations class, Marketing faculty, representative of graduating students, gave a speech at the graduation ceremony. Graduating with honors with an academic result of 3.63/4.0 and a training score of 100/100, adding to her impressive list of achievements such as the January Star Award at the Central level; 5 Good Students at the Hanoi city level; Third prize in the Vietnam Airlines Youth Travel Awards academic competition...
