Four Department Directors were elected as members of the Hanoi City People's Committee.

On the morning of July 6, continuing the 12th session, the Hanoi City People's Council proceeded to complete the positions under the authority of the City People's Council.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Trong Dong presented a report on the election of additional members of Hanoi People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

According to the report of the City People's Committee, in order for the direction and administration of the City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term to meet the requirements in all areas of work; in accordance with the provisions of law, the Chairman of the City People's Committee submitted to the City People's Council for consideration and decision to elect additional members of the Hanoi City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for 4 people.

At the meeting, with the majority of delegates voting in favor, the City People's Council elected members of the City People's Committee for the Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Director of the Department of Planning and Architecture, and Director of the Department of Information and Communications.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Cuong was born in 1979, his hometown is Truc Bach ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi. Before being appointed as Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Cuong was Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem district.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Ky Anh, born in 1969, is from Thanh Lam commune, Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province. Before being appointed as Director of Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture, he was Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Director of Hanoi Department of Information and Communications.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, born in 1976, is from Bui La Nhan commune, Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province. Mr. Hung was Deputy Director in charge of the Hanoi Department of Information and Communications before being appointed by the Chairman of the City People's Committee to the position of Director of this department.
