Training on trade union work for the 2023-2028 term

On April 10, in Sam Son City, the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) organized a training course on trade union skills and operations for the 2023-2028 term for key union officials in the province. Comrade Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor attended and directly delivered the seminar at the conference.

Attending the training conference were nearly 200 officials who are members of the Standing Committee, Executive Committee, Inspection Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor; officials, civil servants, and public employees of the Provincial Federation of Labor; presidents, vice presidents, heads of the Women's Union, heads of the Inspection Committee of the trade unions at the grassroots level directly above and grassroots trade unions directly under the Provincial Federation of Labor.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Comrade Vo Manh Son, Provincial Party Committee member and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, emphasized: The conference aims to equip key union officials in the province with basic knowledge about union work and emerging issues in union activities in the context of the country's increasingly deep integration. At the same time, he requested that the participants of the conference seriously absorb the topics conveyed, and then implement them in their units, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of union activities as well as meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

During the 3 days (April 10-12), delegates listened to comrade Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Confederation of Labor convey the following topics: Basic issues of Vietnam Trade Unions, emerging issues in current labor relations, tasks and solutions of trade unions at all levels in the coming time; leadership and management skills of trade union officials, issues on cadre work, union member development, establishment of grassroots trade unions in the current period; innovation in trade union operation methods in the current period, current situation and solutions; inspection work of trade unions at all levels; basic issues on women's work of Thanh Hoa Trade Union, tasks and solutions in the coming time; trade unions initiating lawsuits, participating in civil proceedings, resolving labor cases in court...
