Training on international integration and foreign affairs

On the morning of June 28, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Thanh Hoa province coordinated with the Department of Foreign Affairs and units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize a training course on international integration and foreign affairs in 2024.

The training course was attended by 160 trainees who are officials, civil servants and public employees working in foreign affairs at provincial departments, agencies and branches; districts, towns, cities and a number of agencies, units and enterprises in the province.

Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs Vu Ngoc Duong delivered the opening speech of the training course.

The training content focuses on four topics, including: Updating the world and regional situation and implementing Vietnam's foreign policy guidelines; the situation in the East Sea and orientations for protecting sea and island sovereignty in the coming time; management of international conferences and seminars in the locality; diplomatic reception skills and welcoming international delegations in the locality.

Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies (Diplomatic Academy) Tran Thanh Hai delivered a presentation at the training class.

Through the training course, cadres, civil servants and public employees working in foreign affairs at provincial departments, agencies and branches; districts, towns, cities and a number of agencies, units and enterprises in the province promptly grasp knowledge about international integration and foreign affairs.

Thereby, effectively applying soft skills, skills associated with professional tasks and enhancing new skills, meeting work requirements, contributing to improving the quality of foreign affairs and international integration of units and localities in the new situation.
