During the 4 days, the officials studied and mastered 9 topics on the plots and tricks of "peaceful evolution" and "violent overthrow" by hostile forces operating against the Vietnamese revolution; preventive measures of the Party and State; viewpoints, guidelines and policies of the Party and State in building a national defense, a national defense posture associated with people's security, a people's security posture; Vietnam's sovereignty over the Southwest region; viewpoints and policies of the Party and State of Vietnam on ethnicity and religion associated with national defense and security in the new situation.

In recent years, the province has regularly paid attention to the task of national defense and security education for all people, including religious dignitaries and officials in general, Hoa Hao Buddhism in particular; considering this one of the extremely important parts when building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
