The Ministry of Information and Communications revises and supplements guidelines on job positions in the field of information and communications.

(Mic.gov.vn) - On March 29, 2024 , the Ministry of Information and Communications issued Circular No. 01/2-24/TT-BTTTT amending and supplementing the appendix issued with Circular No. 08/2023/TT-BTTTT dated July 28, 2023 of the Minister of Information and Communications guiding on leadership and management positions and professional titles of specialized civil servants, the structure of civil servants according to professional titles in public service units in the IT&T sector and field and Circular No. 09/2023/TT-BTTTT dated July 28, 2023 of the Minister of Information and Communications guiding on professional positions of civil servants in the IT&T sector in agencies and organizations in the IT&T sector and field.

The content of the Circular clearly states the amendments and supplements to the guidance on leadership and management positions and professional titles of specialized civil servants, the structure of civil servants according to professional titles in public service units in the specific IT&T sector and field such as:

Replace the phrase "General application of professional titles in journalism" with the phrase "General application of job positions for civil servants in journalism" in Section II, Appendix III; Add the phrase "information security" after the phrase "Information technology field" in the name of Section III, Appendix III; Replace the phrase "General application of professional titles in science and technology" with the phrase "General application of job positions for civil servants in science and technology" in Section IV, Appendix III...

In addition, the Circular also clearly states the amendments and supplements to the guidance on job positions of professional civil servants in the field of information and communication in agencies and organizations in the field of information and communication such as:

Replace some contents of the job description for the position of senior specialist in telecommunications management at number 31, Section VII, Appendix II; Replace the contents of the job description for the position of chief specialist in telecommunications management at number 32, Section VII, Appendix II; Replace the contents of the job description for the position of specialist in telecommunications management at number 33, Section VII, Appendix II.

This Circular takes effect from March 29, 2024.
