VOV.VN - On the morning of March 25, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense, inspected the parade and marching practice in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Political Bureau, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense - presided over the inspection of the joint training exercise. In his directive speech, encouraging the forces, Minister of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang, praised the initial achievements of the forces participating in the joint training exercise preparing for the parade and march in the ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country.
General Phan Van Giang also requested that agencies, units, and groups continue to learn from experience regarding some remaining issues. Forces participating in parades and marches need to continue actively practicing and mastering the drill movements according to the tasks of each unit and force; closely combining training and joint exercises, overcoming all difficulties, utilizing all available time for practice, and strictly adhering to discipline.
The parade formations in the commemoration ceremony aim to recreate the heroic spirit of the General Offensive and Uprising of Spring 1975, culminating in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign which achieved complete victory at noon on April 30, 1975.
This is the 8th joint training session aimed at further learning from experience so that units can organize training for forces participating in parades and marches to achieve the best results.
Regarding the task of organizing and commanding the movement of forces into Ho Chi Minh City, General Phan Van Giang requested that the command work be carried out meticulously and with absolute safety.
Before the parade began, there was an artistic formation display with the theme "The Nation Filled with Joy".

At cluster 1 at National Military Training Center 4, more than 1,900 cadres, soldiers, officers, militiamen in 2 standing blocks and 14 walking blocks participated in the joint training. Unlike previous joint training sessions, the soldiers all appeared in new military uniforms.
