Nghe An Mr. Efremov Alexander Viktorovich - Minister of Agriculture of Kaluga region highly appreciated the high-tech concentrated dairy farm cluster of TH Group in Nghe An.
The visit and working session of the delegation of Kaluga regional government (Russian Federation) at the TH Group's dairy farm cluster in Nghia Dan, Nghe An took place on November 21.

Minister of Agriculture of Kaluga Region, Mr. Efremov Alexander Viktorovich, was surprised by the development steps after nearly 15 years of TH Group's establishment. That is the journey to transform Nghia Dan land from a remote area, rising to become the "capital" of Vietnamese dairy cows with a closed-scale farm and a milk processing factory, purified water, wood processing... the most modern in Southeast Asia.
"We do not have vast fields like Russia. However, on each of these 'fertile' fields, we try our best to bring the highest efficiency and productivity," said Mr. Ngo Minh Hai - Chairman of the Board of Directors of TH Group.
The business representative gave an example: in Russia, TH can only grow one crop of corn a year, but in Vietnam, this unit can grow up to three crops. Grass growing for dairy cow feed in Kaluga can only be cut a maximum of two times a year, but in Nghia Dan, this business can cut 6-8 times a year.
As the former general director of a dairy farming enterprise in the Russian Federation, Minister of Agriculture Kaluga is interested in how TH manages its herd of nearly 70,000 dairy cows through Perometer chips worn on the cows' legs.

All information about cow health is transmitted directly to the signal receiver at the Milking Center and updated to the computer. Mr. Viktorovich is also interested in the closed milking process, immediate cooling after milking and other modern processes in the operating system at TH's farm.
At TH's Feed Center No. 2 in Nghia Dan, the head of the Kaluga region's agriculture sector was impressed by the scale and technology that TH applied in processing feed for dairy cows.
TH Farm has two large feed centers. Each center can ferment hundreds of thousands of tons of raw feed per harvest. Every day, more than 2,000 tons of feed are mixed and rations with dozens of separate menus are distributed to different groups of cows: lactating cows, dry cows, calves, pregnant cows, heifers, and cows in labor.
These centers have automatic ration planning, mixing, processing and feeding departments for dairy cows, consulted and operated by Israeli nutrition experts using NDS Professional software technology - feed ration planning software and 1-One - feed mixing and spreading management software.
While visiting the TH Biofertilizer Processing Plant, the Minister of Agriculture of the Kaluga region was surprised by the perfection of the circular production process at TH Group. Accordingly, by-products of the livestock farming process are reused in cultivation. Organic waste is collected and processed into biological buffers for the farm and organic fertilizer production through expensive and modern imported technologies, invested in since the days of operating the farm.
From the end of 2022, Greenma TH organic fertilizer products will enter the organic fertilizer market in Vietnam with certification of meeting national technical regulations on fertilizers.
"Directly observing how you organize large-scale, high-tech agricultural production in Nghia Dan, I believe in TH and realize that the achievements today are just the beginning. Greater successes are ahead, the result of the investment process that the enterprise has painstakingly implemented," said Mr. Efremov Alexander Viktorovich.

Introducing the dairy farming industry in Kaluga, Mr. Efremov Alexander Viktorovich found that Kaluga and Nghe An have many similarities in terms of agricultural land area. Dairy farming is also a priority industry for attracting investment in Kaluga. Currently, Kaluga has a total herd of about 52,000 dairy cows. The Kaluga government expects that when investors like TH appear, in a few years, the number of cows will reach 72,000.
The average milk yield of a herd of cows in Kaluga is about 27 liters per cow per day. Meanwhile, the average milk yield of TH in Nghe An is 33 liters per cow per day, and in Russia it is 40 liters per cow per day.

The Minister of Agriculture of Kaluga Region hopes that the success that TH Group achieved in Vietnam will be quickly replicated in Kaluga, where the enterprise is building high-tech dairy farm clusters and a large-capacity fresh milk processing plant.
The investment project of TH Group in Kaluga Region with components that TH has implemented such as in Nghia Dan, Nghe An is a component of the overall project to invest in the TH dairy farming and fresh milk processing complex in the Russian Federation.
By the end of 2022, the first phase of the TH farm in the Ulyanovo district of Kaluga province will be completed. The second farm in the Khvastovichi district is being designed and will start construction after the completion of the Ulyanovo farm.
In January this year, TH imported 2,400 purebred high-yielding cows from the US to Kaluga and operated the farm. With modern technology, scientific management and professional operating procedures, TH's cows in Kaluga are well adapted and have high milk productivity.
The company currently owns 20,000 hectares of arable land in Kaluga and organizes land reclamation and cultivation on an area of 8,000 hectares with high-yield livestock crops such as wheat, barley, corn, alfalfa, ryegrass... Hundreds of Kaluga locals who previously had to go to the city to find work have now returned to work for TH's project and live in their hometown. TH also focuses on community activities by regularly sponsoring local festival events, giving gifts to children from poor families on Russian holidays and New Year, supporting road cleaning machines, road repairs...
Up to now, in addition to Kaluga province, TH Group's project in Russia has made steady progress in Moscow province, Primoskiy (Far East) and the Republic of Bashkortostan. In Moscow province, TH inaugurated phase 1 of a dairy farm cluster with a scale of 12,000 dairy cows. Currently, this area has nearly 3,000 dairy cows, bringing the total number of dairy cows raised by TH in the Russian Federation to nearly 6,000. The project has become a highlight of the Vietnam - Russia economic cooperation relationship.
In addition, TH Group's milk processing plant with the largest capacity in Russia has been started in the Kaluga Industrial Zone, 100 km from the center of Moscow. The partners in designing and supplying machinery and technology for the plant are multinational companies and contractors with extensive experience in the industrial construction industry in Russia. Phase I of the plant is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
