Minister Nguyen Hong Dien directed the implementation of tasks to promote cooperation with China.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued a notice of instructions from Minister Nguyen Hong Dien on implementing the task of promoting cooperation with China.

Notice 384/TB-BCT on the direction of the Minister of Industry and Trade on the implementation of the task of promoting cooperation with China was sent to the Department of Asia - Africa Market; Departments: Industry, Trade Promotion, E-commerce and Digital Economy, Import and Export and Industry and Trade Newspaper.

The announcement clearly stated that, considering the proposal of the Asia - Africa Market Department on assigning units to carry out the task of promoting cooperation with China, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien directed:

First, for the Asia - Africa Market Department:

Continue to closely coordinate with the Chinese Ministry of Commerce to implement bilateral cooperation contents; focus on researching and proposing solutions to promote economic, trade and industrial cooperation with China.

Urgently advise on the implementation of the plan to establish a Working Group to study models for building a Vietnam-China cross-border economic cooperation zone according to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Commerce of China; report the implementation status and results to the Ministry's leaders in December 2024.

The focal point urges relevant units to implement signed cooperation documents and cooperation contents that the two sides have agreed upon at working sessions; promptly summarizes and reports the situation and implementation results to the Minister and the Ministry's leaders according to regulations.

Second, for the Department of Industry, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien assigned the following tasks:

Continue to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China to implement the cooperation contents in the Memorandum of Understanding on industrial cooperation between the two Ministries and the contents to promote cooperation between the two sides that were discussed and reached consensus at the working session between Minister Nguyen Hong Dien and the Minister of Industry and Information Technology of China, such as: Automobile industry, consumer industry, supporting industry, platform industry, minerals...

Research cooperation with China in the fields of: Raw materials, railway industry, manufacturing, aircraft manufacturing; cooperation in sharing experiences, technology transfer to develop the aerospace industry.

Third, for the Trade Promotion Agency, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien directed to accelerate the completion of procedures for signing the Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Office in Haikou city with the Hainan government, China; actively coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote the establishment of the Office in Haikou and other localities of China as soon as possible.

Consulting on the construction of a booth to introduce Vietnamese products at Tan Phat Dia Agricultural Products Distribution Center, Beijing, China.

Fourth, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy continues to strengthen cooperation in the field of e-commerce with China.

Fifth, the Import-Export Department proactively promotes cooperation with the Chinese side to effectively exploit the Vietnam-China international railway container transport route.

Sixth, for the Industry and Trade Newspaper, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien directed to focus on studying plans to strengthen cooperation between the Industry and Trade Newspaper and media agencies of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, especially the International Trade Newspaper.

At the end of the Notice, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien also requested units to urgently implement the above tasks according to their assigned functions and tasks; regularly report the situation and implementation results to the Deputy Minister in charge of the field and the Minister according to regulations.
