First, the expanded G7 Summit adopted the Hiroshima Action Declaration on Global Self-Reliant Food Security, proposing a set of solutions to respond to the immediate food crisis, enhance self-reliance to prevent similar crises in the future, and ensure nutrition for all people. This is a remarkable result, demonstrating Japan's leadership efforts as well as the determination of the G7 countries and guests in solving urgent and fundamental problems that have multi-faceted impacts on people's lives.

Third, on the issues of peace, stability and prosperity in the world, the Leaders agreed that in the context of the complicated developments in the world situation, it is necessary to promote multilateralism, international cooperation, resolve conflicts by peaceful means, and protect the security and safety of the people. The countries emphasized the serious implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea (DOC) and move towards achieving a substantive and effective Code of Conduct in the East Sea (COC) in accordance with international law, especially the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
