(Dan Tri) - Receiving a gift and a handwritten letter from Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son, an 8th grade female student in Dak Nong burst into happiness at the affection the industry leader had for her.
"You can call and talk to me anytime"
During the discussion on Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, at Luong The Vinh Secondary School (Dak R'lap District, Dak Nong), Nguyen Tran Bao Thuc (student of class 8A5) was honored to receive a gift from Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son sent from Hanoi.
The gift, in addition to three books on Vietnamese and world history, also included a notebook with a handwritten letter from the Minister to his little student in the Central Highlands.

In the letter, the Minister of Education and Training expressed his impression of Bao Thuc's answer at the mock session of the "Children's National Assembly". The Minister sent words of encouragement and motivation to the child to continue nurturing his dream and constantly strive to study.
"You have had very correct thoughts and feelings about the decisive role of learners themselves in their own problems. The search for happiness and success, first of all, always lies within oneself," Minister Nguyen Kim Son wrote in the letter.
In addition, Minister Nguyen Kim Son also left his personal phone number in the letter and sent a message to Bao Thuc: "You can call and talk to me anytime, about any issue, both now and in the future."
Faced with the affection of the Minister of Education and Training, after reading the letter, Bao Thuc was overwhelmed with emotion and shed tears of happiness.
"At that time, I couldn't believe that after 2 months, the Minister still remembered and cared about me like that. I read the letter many times to better understand the advice he sent me. I was very touched and honored," Bao Thuc shared.

The student said that last September, she was one of three students representing Dak Nong province to attend the "Children's National Assembly" mock session in Hanoi. There, when Minister Nguyen Kim Son asked the question "When preventing school violence, whose role is the most important?", Bao Thuc stood up and answered fluently.
According to Bao Thuc, the most important role in preventing and combating school violence lies with each student himself. Because when those involved do not dare to speak up, no one will know and the problem of school violence will spread more widely.
"Students who witness violence and those who are victims of violence must speak up with school leaders, teachers and parents to protect victims and themselves, and not choose to remain silent in the face of school violence," Bao Thuc said.
Right after I answered, the Minister and the delegates applauded, which made me very happy.
According to Bao Thuc, although the Minister is very busy, he still takes time to write letters and encourage him. This is the motivation for him to try harder in his studies to achieve his dreams in the future.
"I am truly honored and happy and would like to send my deepest thanks to the Minister," the young student shared.
The Minister of Education and Training's affection for students in remote areas
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Principal of Luong The Vinh Secondary School, when they learned that Bao Thuc received a gift and a letter from the Minister, the whole school was surprised. It was a great encouragement from the Minister for a student in a remote school.
"Bao Thuc is an intelligent student, studies well, actively participates in movement activities and has a talent for public speaking. The school's teachers all hope and believe that Bao Thuc will develop and succeed in the future," said Ms. Hien.

As the person who directly received the gift from the Minister to bring back to Dak Nong province, Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Dak Nong Department of Education and Training, said that during his recent working trip to Hanoi, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son discussed his desire to have a working trip to Dak Nong but had not yet arranged it. Therefore, the Minister sent the gift to Bao Thuc to encourage him to always strive in his studies.
According to Mr. Hai, the Minister shared that he was very impressed with a small female student from a remote area of Dak Nong province who had very profound and practical statements in the mock session of the "Children's National Assembly".
"I was very surprised, happy and excited when Dak Nong students received timely encouragement from the Minister. This is a very special gift and honor in Bao Thuc's student life," said the Director of Dak Nong Department of Education and Training.
On the morning of September 28 at the National Assembly House, the Central Youth Union, the Central Council of Young Pioneers chaired and coordinated with the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education, the National Assembly Office and relevant agencies to organize the opening of the second mock session of the "Children's National Assembly" - 2024.
With the participation of 306 delegates who are outstanding young pioneers from 63 provinces and cities across the country.
