Attending the conference were Major General Nguyen Ngoc Doan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense, Political Commissar of the General Staff, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee; representatives of leaders and commanders of agencies and units under the General Staff and members of the Organizing Committee.

The conference was held to assess the progress of the implementation of the plan to organize the commemorative activities according to the set plan and to implement additional contents. Based on the progress reports of the competent agencies, the conference spent time discussing, clarifying difficulties, agreeing on the tasks of adjustment, supplementation and completion milestones in the coming time.

According to the conference report, up to now, activities have been and are being implemented synchronously in the following aspects: Propaganda and education of traditions; production of documentaries, television dramas; publishing historical books and books of typical articles of the Chiefs of the General Staff; organizing scientific seminars at the Ministry of National Defense level; cultural - artistic activities, sports, camping, art exchanges and performances to serve the people. Policy work, mass mobilization, gratitude to generations of cadres, construction of civil works and community support have also been focused on implementation.

Concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan requested agencies and units to urgently complete directive documents, clearly define the content, progress, and responsible person for each task. Emphasizing the role of the Political Department in coordination, he suggested strengthening coordination between agencies inside and outside the military, and promoting propaganda on traditional media and digital platforms.

For specific tasks, the Head of the Organizing Committee requested units to carefully prepare the anniversary ceremony and art programs, complete the film script, develop a camping plan in conjunction with other activities; deploy historical works and foreign affairs activities on schedule. At the same time, it is necessary to make detailed estimates, ensure the quality of activities, proactively handle problems, and promptly report to the Organizing Committee for synthesis and general direction.
