Additional accommodation facilities to serve tourists in Dien Bien during peak season

Mr. Pham Van Thang - Head of Tourism Department, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien said that the whole province of Dien Bien currently has 205 tourist accommodation establishments with nearly 2,800 rooms, about 5,100 beds. This number is quite modest compared to the needs of tourists coming to Dien Bien on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien has also coordinated with other forces, especially the Dien Bien Provincial Police, to guide these households to strictly comply with regulations on tourism service business, especially ensuring security and order and ensuring fire prevention and fighting safety.
