On the evening of April 22, at Division 312, Corps 12 (Thai Nguyen), the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (Ministry of National Defense) organized an art program - youth discussion with the theme "Continuing the epic of complete victory" and summarized and awarded prizes for the contest to learn about 50 years of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association; Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, and commanders of a number of agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense.

The program is organized to educate and propagate to union members, young army members and young people nationwide to understand more deeply about the tradition of fighting to defend the country of the nation, the glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army; encourage and motivate officers, soldiers of the entire army and people to continue to promote the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of the Great Victory of Spring 1975, uphold the will of self-reliance, self-reliance, determination to build an increasingly rich, civilized, cultured and heroic Vietnam.
At the program, many young soldiers and local people had the opportunity to interact with historical witnesses, researchers, and outstanding young soldiers who highlighted the significance, stature, and lessons of the Great Victory of Spring 1975; the achievements in combat readiness training, soldiers wading through storms and floods to save people, showing the glorious tradition and invincibility of the heroic army.

Also here, the organizing committee awarded prizes to 80 works of authors and author groups, including 10 A prizes, 15 B prizes, 25 C prizes, 30 consolation prizes and commended 35 groups in organizing and participating in the contest to learn about 50 years of national unification.
According to the organizers, after 3 months of launching, there were 966,528 entries submitted to participate in the contest at the unit level, with many diverse genres and new forms. Most of the entries were invested, of good quality, applied digital technology, convenient for research and propaganda.
Notably, many foreign students studying in Vietnam submitted entries with extensive and creative content.
