To promptly encourage, motivate and acknowledge the results of the Project Team and the forces participating in the investigation, the Steering Committee 1389 of the Ministry of National Defense decided to reward the Counter-Espionage Reconnaissance Department of the Border Guard Reconnaissance Department 25 million VND; the Central Reconnaissance Team of the Border Guard Reconnaissance Department 15 million VND; the Reconnaissance Department and Thuan Border Guard Station of the Border Guard of Quang Tri province each 15 million VND for their outstanding achievements in the fight against Project XNC7.
Authorized by the Steering Committee 1389 of the Ministry of National Defense, the Border Guard Command of Quang Tri province awarded prizes to the Reconnaissance Department and Thuan Border Guard Station.
Accordingly, at 4:30 p.m. on March 28, at Km 72+800 National Highway 9, in Lang Vay village, Tan Long commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province. The Provincial Border Guard Reconnaissance Department presided over and coordinated with Thuan Border Guard Station, Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Special Reconnaissance Team and Central Reconnaissance Team - Reconnaissance Department to successfully combat the XNC7 project, arresting 6 subjects including: Xam Lixay, born in 1984, Mat, born in 1977, A Phung, born in 1972, Thon, born in 1998, Lao Bunsu, born in 1964, all Lao nationals, residing in Noong district, Savannakhet province, Laos and Ho Van Ban, born in 1995, Vietnamese national, residing in Kleng Palau village, Ka Tup - Ma Hat cluster, Se Pon district, Savannakhet province, Laos (not yet naturalized in Laos) who were organizing illegal entry and exit with many documents violating the law.
Through initial investigation, the above subjects confessed that they were living in Savannakhet province, Laos, organizing illegal entry and exit and connecting with subjects in Vietnam to propagate illegal documents.
It is known that among the above subjects, there is Lao Bunsu, born in 1964, who was discovered by the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard force to be illegally propagating information and was administratively punished for crossing the national border without completing exit and entry procedures as prescribed by law.
