Appointing new personnel at Dung Quat Economic Zone Management Board

(Dan Tri) - Mr. Tran Van Man, Director of the Department of Construction of Quang Ngai province, was transferred and appointed as Head of the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks.

On November 15, the Office of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province announced that Mr. Tran Hoang Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, signed a decision to transfer and appoint two leaders of the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks.

Accordingly, Mr. Tran Van Man, Director of the Department of Construction, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Head of the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of Quang Ngai province.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Truong, Head of Planning and Synthesis Department, Dung Quat Economic Zone Management Board and Industrial Parks of Quang Ngai province, was appointed as Deputy Head of the Board.

For more than half a year, the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and industrial parks in Quang Ngai province has been short of staff due to the arrest of several unit leaders.

In March, Mr. Ha Hoang Viet Phuong, former Head of the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Parks in Quang Ngai Province, was arrested for violations related to Phuc Son Group.

In April, Mr. Nguyen Pham Trong Nghia, Deputy Head of the Department, was arrested to investigate the crime of Receiving bribes.

Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks Management Board was established on the basis of merging Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks Management Board.

The Management Board is an agency under the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, performing the function of direct state management of Dung Quat Economic Zone and industrial parks in Quang Ngai province.

The Board is responsible for managing and organizing the implementation of the function of providing public administrative services and other support services related to investment and business production activities for investors in Dung Quat Economic Zone and industrial parks in the province according to the provisions of law.
