On March 12, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung chaired a conference to deploy the decision on personnel work of the Radio Frequency Department.

The decision to temporarily reappoint Mr. Tran Manh Tuan to the position of Deputy Director of the Radio Frequency Department was signed and issued by the Minister of Information and Communications on February 29.

Mr. Tran Manh Tuan has 24 years of experience in the field of Information and Communications, with nearly 20 years as a manager. In February 2019, Mr. Tran Manh Tuan was transferred from the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Telecommunications to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Radio Frequency. During his work, Mr. Tran Manh Tuan has made many contributions to the activities of units in the Ministry as well as to the overall development of the Ministry and the Information and Communications sector.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Dung congratulated Mr. Tran Manh Tuan personally and the entire Radio Frequency Department.

With the re-appointment of Mr. Tran Manh Tuan, the current Board of Directors of the Radio Frequency Department includes Director Le Van Tuan and two Deputy Directors Nguyen Phuong Anh and Tran Manh Tuan.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Dung asked Mr. Tran Manh Tuan to immediately start implementing the tasks assigned by the Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Information and Communications in the new term, with the requirement of achieving specific results.

In particular, there are 3 tasks that Deputy Director of the Radio Frequency Department Tran Manh Tuan needs to focus on implementing with the Party Committee and leaders of the Radio Frequency Department in the coming time: Operating and perfecting the noise collection and analysis system in 2024 and 2025 for official and widespread use; Bringing the rate of online administrative procedures provided by the Radio Frequency Department to the people and society to an average of 80%/year and maintaining it continuously in the coming time; Increasing the rate of online inspections chaired by the Radio Frequency Department with measurement and quantification rates as well as specific measurement formulas to strengthen online supervision, inspection and examination.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Director of the Radio Frequency Department Tran Manh Tuan said that he was aware that being reappointed was an honor but also a great responsibility and challenge. Because, nowadays, with the strong development of new technologies, radio frequencies are widely used in socio-economic activities as well as in people's daily lives. This requires radio frequency management to be more innovative, creative and effective.

Committing to make efforts with the Radio Frequency Department to complete assigned tasks, Deputy Director Tran Manh Tuan also hopes to continue receiving attention and close direction from the Ministry's leaders as well as cooperation and support from agencies, units within the Ministry and officers, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department.
