Luyen's parents set a trap for their biological daughter.
Review of Life is Still Beautiful episode 38 aired on the evening of June 27 revealed the scene where the biological parents came to the poor boarding house to force Luyen (Thanh Huong) to save Bat (Tuan Anh), the eldest grandson of the family, from prison.

In another development, Luyen’s parents began to think of a way to trap their daughter. But in reality, they had secretly bought chicken to eat without telling anyone. Also in episode 28 of Life is Still Beautiful, seeing his father working hard, Thach (Viet Hoang) wants to ask Luu to take a year off from school. However, Luu firmly refuses and affirms: "Your job is to focus on studying, don't waste your life like your father."
