Ministry of Education and Training evaluates the results of universal preschool education in Muong Khuong district

The delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training worked with Muong Khuong district.

Muong Khuong currently has 20 kindergartens and 1 private nursery group, nearly 75% of children of school age attend school. School and classroom facilities have been invested in construction; the number of solid classrooms is nearly 44%; semi-solid classrooms are over 52%. Children going to school enjoy the regimes of the Central and the province; 100% of schools organize 2 sessions/day and cook meals at school. Up to now, 16/16 communes and towns have maintained universal preschool education for 5-year-old children and met the standards for universal preschool education for 4-year-old children.

The delegation of the Ministry ofEducation and Training requested Muong Khuong district to continue to maintain and improve the quality of universal preschool education; prioritize funding sources to renovate, repair, upgrade facilities, purchase equipment, supplies, and toys for schools. Promote propaganda work, raise awareness about universal education, build schools that meet national standards...
