Ministry of Education and Training abolishes a series of administrative procedures

Specifically, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) abolished 12 administrative procedures in Decision No. 2108/QD-BGDĐT dated June 24, 2021, issued by the Minister of Education and Training.

The list of abolished administrative procedures includes: Approval or adjustment of integrated education programs; Recognition of the president of a public university; Establishment and recognition of school councils and university councils; dismissal and removal of the chairman and members of school councils and university councils of public higher education institutions; Recognition of provinces achieving universal education and literacy standards (these procedures were previously carried out by the Ministry of Education and Training).

The next procedures to be abolished are: establishing continuing education centers; merging and splitting continuing education centers; and dissolving continuing education centers (these procedures were previously carried out by the provincial People's Committee),...

In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training also abolished one administrative procedure in Decision No. 4926/QD-BGDĐT dated December 28, 2021, of the Minister of Education and Training on the announcement of amended and supplemented administrative procedures in the field of ethnic education within the scope and functions of the Ministry's management; and abolished three administrative procedures in Decision No. 292/QD-BGDĐT dated January 16, 2024, of the Minister of Education and Training on the announcement of newly issued and replaced administrative procedures in the field of education and training within the national education system under the scope and functions of the Ministry's management.
