Ministry of Education and Training abolishes a series of administrative procedures

Of which, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) abolished 12 administrative procedures in Decision No. 2108/QD-BGDDT dated June 24, 2021 of the Minister of Education and Training.

The list of administrative procedures abolished includes: Approval or adjustment of integrated education programs; Recognition of public university principals; Establishment and recognition of school councils and university councils; dismissal and removal of chairmen and members of school councils and university councils of public higher education institutions; Recognition of provinces meeting universal education and literacy standards (these procedures were previously performed by the Ministry of Education and Training).

The next abolished procedures are establishing continuing education centers; Merging and separating continuing education centers; Dissolving continuing education centers (these procedures were previously performed by the provincial People's Committee),...

At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Training also abolished 1 administrative procedure in Decision No. 4926/QD-BGDDT dated December 28, 2021 of the Minister of Education and Training on promulgating amended and supplemented administrative procedures in the field of ethnic education under the scope and management functions of the Ministry; abolished 3 administrative procedures in Decision No. 292/QD-BGDDT dated January 16, 2024 of the Minister of Education and Training on promulgating newly issued administrative procedures and replaced administrative procedures in the field of education and training under the national education system under the scope and management functions of the Ministry.
