This morning (February 15th), Thanh Nien Newspaper held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Exam Season Counseling program at Dong Nai University. The program attracted approximately 10,000 students attending in person, along with more than 50 educational institutions participating.

2025 marks a crucial stage in the reform of Vietnam's education system. The implementation of the 2018 General Education Program is entering its final year and is creating fundamental changes in teaching methods and student assessment, particularly in a more comprehensive assessment of student competencies. Regulations for the high school graduation exam and university/college entrance exams are also being adjusted to align with the changes in the education system and the needs of society.
Candidates taking the 2025 high school graduation exam and university entrance exam are facing many questions about the exam and admission process, as well as concerns about exam preparation, as this is the first year of implementing the new general education curriculum.
Nearly 10,000 students from Dong Nai province participated in the opening ceremony of the 2025 Exam Season Counseling Program this morning.

Attending the program, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Higher Education Department (Ministry of Education and Training), offered insights on university admissions under the new general education program and analyzed the advantages of candidates participating in different admission methods.
Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Evaluation of Training Quality (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), further noted the new features of the competency assessment exam and the selection process for member units. In particular, with the adjustment of the exam structure, what should candidates prepare to achieve the best results?
Also included in the program is in-depth career counseling across various fields: natural sciences-engineering, economics -social sciences-education.
