Sharing with Thanh Nien, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said that he had asked the Ministry's Office to synthesize information from relevant departments and agencies to develop a scenario to respond to the trade war.
According to Thanh Nien reporters' investigation, right after Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's direction at the regular Government meeting in January, preparing scenarios for the possibility of a trade war in 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade directed relevant departments and agencies to urgently review, assess, and evaluate export markets and develop scenarios and solutions to proactively respond.

A leader of the European - American Market Department said that this unit is synthesizing and updating information from trade deals, including the requirement to develop a plan to expand export markets for Vietnamese goods. In the European and American regions, the focus will be on niche markets, untapped potential markets such as EU countries; the Central Asian market; and expanding new markets in Latin American countries, especially Colombia.
