The Ministry of Industry and Trade held a conference to disseminate and implement Directive 35-CT/TW of the Politburo.

The conference was also attended by members of the Standing Committee, members of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; secretaries, deputy secretaries, members of Party committees at grassroots levels, grassroots Party cells, Party cells directly under the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; secretaries, deputy secretaries, members of Party cells directly under the grassroots Party committees; leaders of units (Heads and Deputy Heads) of the General Department, the National Competition Commission; departments, offices, institutes, the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, the Ministry Inspectorate, the Ministry's Office, the Office of the Party Committee, the Office of the State Steering Committee for energy sector projects, the Office of the Inter-sectoral Steering Committee for international economic integration, the Industry and Trade Newspaper, the Industry and Trade Magazine, the Industry and Trade Publishing House, the Central Training and Fostering School for Industry and Trade Officials, the Center for Industry and Trade Information, the Center for Health - Labor Environment of Industry and Trade; Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation, etc.

At the Conference, delegates were informed of Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Plan No. 182-KH/ĐUK dated July 29, 2024 of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies on organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th Congress of Party Delegates of the Central Agencies, term 2025-2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party; Implementing Plan No. 88-KH/ĐUB dated September 12, 2024 of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 4th Congress of Party Delegates of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said: The 14th National Congress of the Party held in early 2026 is an important political event of the Party and the country. The Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term are a broad political activity, especially taking place in the context of our country achieving many great achievements, important, outstanding and comprehensive results in all fields; this is a pivotal moment to start bringing our country into a new development cycle to successfully achieve the country's goals in 2030, the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding, and in 2045, the 100th anniversary of the country's founding.

For that reason, our Party promptly issued Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Implementing Directive No. 35 of the Politburo; Plan No. 182 of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, on August 12, 2024, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Plan No. 88 on organizing Party congresses at all levels and the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th Congress of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, term 2025-2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party.

“ Implementing the direction of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, today, the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade held a conference to disseminate Directive No. 35 of the Politburo, Plan No. 182 of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies and Plan No. 88 of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to all Party committees and affiliated Party organizations ,” said the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.

According to the Deputy Minister, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade is characterized as a grassroots Party Committee, operating according to Regulation No. 123-QD/TW dated September 26, 2023 of the Secretariat on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the direct superior Party Committee of the grassroots Party organization under the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc; has a Party organization that is not identical to the government and professional organizations, has many affiliated units, and a relatively large number of Party members (there are 64 Party organizations with over 2,000 Party members).

Currently, implementing Regulation No. 60-QD/TW dated March 8, 2022 of the Secretariat, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade is implementing the transfer of party organizations at joint stock enterprises to local party committees. At the same time, implementing the Prime Minister's Decision, the National Power System Dispatch Center was transferred to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, so in the coming time, the Party Committee of the National Power System Dispatch Center will be directly under the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

“ Thus, from now until the end of the year, there will be many changes in the organizational structure of the Ministry’s Party Committee. Among them, there will be diversity in organizational structure, forms of operation, and different contents, requirements, and tasks. These are also the difficulties and challenges in the process of organizing Party congresses at all levels at Party organizations under the Ministry’s Party Committee ,” Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan noted.

In addition, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade added that, with the aim of preparing well and successfully organizing the Party Congresses at all levels and the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the 2025-2030 term; in the recent past, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade has actively led and directed the implementation of regulations and directives of the Central Committee and the Party Committee of the Bloc. The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry has sent cadres to participate in conferences to disseminate and implement Directive No. 35 of the Politburo and Plan No. 182 of the Party Committee of the Bloc; The Standing Committee has approved and issued Plan No. 88 on organizing party congresses at all levels and the 4th Congress of Party Delegates of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2025 - 2030, towards the 14th Congress of Party Delegates of the Central Agencies, term 2025 - 2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party and decisions to establish congress subcommittees (including the Documents subcommittee, Personnel subcommittee, Propaganda and Organization subcommittee serving the Congress) to deploy and disseminate to all affiliated party organizations.

At the conference, delegates also listened to the Leaders of the Party Committee's Organizing Committee thoroughly grasp, guide and implement Directive No. 35 of the Politburo and Plan No. 182 of the Party Committee of the Bloc; The representative of the Party Committee of the Ministry specifically guided the contents of Plan No. 88 of the Party Committee of the Ministry to ensure the Party Congresses at all levels and the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2025-2030. This is the basis for the units to prepare in the best way, take place on schedule, implement synchronously, comprehensively, interconnectedly, unitedly, consistently, ensuring compliance with the regulations and principles of the Party, the laws of the State and achieve great success. Thereby, contributing positively to the overall success of the Congress of Party Committees of the Central Agencies and the National Congress of the Party.
