The fair is expected to be organized by the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting 1, the local Department of Industry and Trade, from October 24-28, 2024, at the square of Vincom Mega Mall Vincom Royal City commercial center (No. 72A Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi city), with a scale of about 250 standard booths measuring 3mx3mx2.5m.
Products participating in the Fair booths include products of rural industrial establishments; priority is given to products of establishments with products certified as typical rural industrial products at all levels.

Participants are supported with participation costs according to regulations, including: Organizations and individuals directly investing in and producing industry and handicrafts in districts, towns, communes and wards of type 2 and type 3 cities, and wards of type 1 cities converted from communes within 5 years.
In case there are many registered units, but the number of booths is limited, the Organizing Committee will give priority to units that are subject to priority in Decree No. 45/2012/ND-CP, units that submit their applications early, on time and fully meet the requirements.
In particular, the national industrial promotion fund supports 100% of booth rental costs for participating units in the Fair that meet the requirements and are subject to regulations.
In addition to organizing the voting for typical rural industrial products, the Fair is one of the effective activities to display, introduce and connect consumption for this type of product. The Fair has also been organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade for many years and has been highly effective.
According to Mr. Ngo Quang Trung - Director of the local Department of Industry and Trade, in recent years, the work of voting for typical IT products has achieved many positive results.
In 2024, in addition to the Northern region, which has voted and awarded certificates for rural industrial products in the Northern region, localities in the Central Highlands and the South are voting and granting certificates to products that meet the criteria.
“ Typical rural industrial products through the voting periods have enjoyed many incentives from the industrial promotion program for production development and market expansion, ” said the leader of the local Department of Industry and Trade.
Appreciating the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the selection, support for production development, and connection for consumption of typical rural industrial products, Ms. Ha Thi Vinh - Permanent Vice President of Bat Trang Ceramics Association said that thanks to the support from the industrial promotion fund, many production facilities in the craft village have boldly invested in applying new machinery and equipment, creating special product lines with high artistry and cost reduction. " The support from industrial promotion has created a push, helping rural industrial enterprises create products of outstanding quality ", Ms. Ha Thi Vinh said.
According to Ms. Ha Thi Vinh, with typical rural industrial products, the output is of special importance, therefore, the work of finding markets for these products needs to change. There should be a long-term strategy and focus on investing in a number of potential enterprises to participate in many consecutive fairs abroad to identify the market and find partners.
Regarding the above proposal, Mr. Ngo Quang Trung informed that regarding the promotion of consumption of typical rural industrial products, enterprises wish to receive more attention, however, national resources are still limited, each year only more than 100 billion VND is allocated for industrial promotion work. In that resource package, the functional unit must balance many contents.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has the National Trade Promotion Program, so the national industrial promotion program will reduce resources on trade promotion content.
“ Developing typical rural industrial products is still an important content of the National Industrial Promotion Program. Industrial promotion capital must be identified as seed capital for businesses to confidently overcome difficulties and continue to grow, ” Mr. Ngo Quang Trung emphasized.
