According to Document No. 6613/BCT-PC dated August 30, 2024 on providing comments on the draft Plan to reduce and simplify regulations related to business activities of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2025 sent to the Government Office and relevant agencies, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that, implementing Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP dated May 12, 2020 of the Government promulgating the Program to reduce and simplify regulations related to business activities in the period of 2020-2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade continues to review regulations related to business activities under its management and develop a Plan to reduce and simplify regulations related to business activities in 2025 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Petroleum business sector is expected to cut and simplify 2 business conditions |
To ensure the effectiveness of cutting and simplifying regulations related to business activities, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requests relevant agencies to provide comments on the areas of cutting and simplifying regulations related to business activities under the management scope of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2025. Including the following areas: Competition management; Import and export; Electricity; Chemicals; Industrial explosives; Automobiles; Petroleum trading; Light industry (alcohol, tobacco).
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the total number of regulations related to business activities in the plan to reduce and simplify regulations related to business activities under the Ministry's state management functions in 2024 is 69/642 (reaching 10.75%) of regulations related to business activities under the management functions.
Specifically: Competition Management sector is expected to cut and simplify 1 business condition and 1 administrative procedure; Import-Export sector is expected to cut and simplify 19 administrative procedures; Food Safety sector is expected to cut and simplify 1 business condition; Electricity sector is expected to cut and simplify 10 business conditions; Chemical sector is expected to cut and simplify 6 administrative procedures; Industrial Explosives sector is expected to cut and simplify 4 administrative procedures; Automobile sector is expected to cut and simplify 8 business conditions; Petroleum Business sector is expected to cut and simplify 2 business conditions; Light Industry sector (alcohol, tobacco) is expected to cut and simplify 5 business conditions and 12 administrative procedures.
In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the total number of documents with regulations related to business activities proposed to be amended, supplemented, replaced, canceled, or abolished in the Reduction and Simplification Plan includes 22 legal documents, including 3 Laws, 14 Decrees, and 6 Circulars.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade will seek comments before September 10, 2024, through the Legal Department.
