200 houses for the poor in Huong Hoa and Dakrong districts were completed and put into use right before the Lunar New Year.

On the afternoon of December 23, in Dakrong district (Quang Tri), the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province to inaugurate and hand over 200 houses to the poor and people with housing difficulties in Dakrong and Huong Hoa districts.
Implementing the policy of the Central Government, the Government and the project of the Ministry of Public Security on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses and supporting the construction of houses for people with revolutionary contributions, households affected by natural disasters, poor and near-poor households, and ethnic minorities, over the past years, the Ministry of Public Security has mobilized resources and supported the construction of 17,200 houses in many provinces and cities.
In Quang Tri, from the Ministry of Public Security's budget, the provincial police have presided over and coordinated with localities to build 200 houses for the poor in the two mountainous districts of Huong Hoa and Dakrong, with a support level of 50 million VND for each house.
With the determination to complete housing for people in time to welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, in the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", construction units supported the working days of officers, soldiers, and police youth union members, 200 houses were completed after 2 months of construction.
The houses are built in the form of "turnkey", helping people feel secure in their work and production, stabilizing their lives.
