The exercise, codenamed QN-24, includes three phases: Transition to combat readiness; preparation and practice of defensive operations; and live-fire drills.
The exercise took place according to the determined plan and was a great success. The comrades in the training framework grasped the principles, directed the agencies and units to correctly, fully and sequentially implement the steps to transition to the combat readiness state; organized the preparation and practice of defensive operations, combat staff work, flexibly applied theoretical principles, suitable to the practical conditions of the provincial military. The Party Committee conferences and conferences chaired by the commander were deployed with correct and sufficient content. Each individual in the training position grasped and applied theory to handle situations close to practical combat. The live forces skillfully used weapons and technical equipment, flexibly handled situations according to tactical principles, close to practice, ensuring absolute safety.
This exercise aims to improve the level and capacity of command organization and combat coordination; to practice the working methods and styles of commanders, agencies at all levels and units in the armed forces of Quang Ninh province. Through this, the level of combat staff work and the ability to coordinate and coordinate of agencies and units in the transition to combat readiness, organizing preparation and practicing defensive operations to meet the requirements of current reality. This will also be the basis for the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command to adjust and supplement combat plans, organize troop training to meet the requirements and tasks of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation.
At the end of the exercise, the Chief of Military Region 3 Command and leaders of Quang Ninh province visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the soldiers participating in the live-fire exercise.
