The Politburo disciplined 1 Provincial Party Secretary, the Secretariat disciplined 2 provincial vice chairmen.

On January 10, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Politburo and the Secretariat reviewed and disciplined party members with violations and shortcomings.

The Politburo decided to issue a disciplinary warning to Mr. Duong Van An, former Secretary of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee.

After considering the proposal of the Central Inspection Commission, the Politburo found that Mr. Duong Van An, during his tenure as Secretary of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee (from October 2020 to March 2024), violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; caused serious consequences, great damage to the state budget, bad public opinion, and reduced the prestige of the Party organization and local government.

During his tenure as a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, member of the Party Executive Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Le O Pich degraded in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; caused very serious consequences, angered public opinion, and negatively affected the reputation of the Party organization and local government.

During his tenure as a member of the Provincial Party Committee, member of the Party Executive Committee, and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province, Mr. Ly Vinh Quang had degraded in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; caused very serious consequences, angered public opinion, and negatively affected the reputation of the Party organization and local government.

Based on the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of violations by the above-mentioned Party members, according to the Party's regulations on disciplining violating Party members, the Politburo decided to issue a disciplinary warning to Mr. Duong Van An; the Secretariat decided to expel Mr. Le O Pich and Mr. Ly Vinh Quang from the Party.

Propose that competent authorities promptly enforce administrative discipline in line with party discipline.
