On January 19, Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
Attending the event were comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee; comrade Tran Hong Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Transport, former Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee; departments, offices, agencies and units under the Central Organizing Committee; and the Ministry of Transport.
On the provincial side, there were comrade Trieu Dinh Le, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Hoang Xuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
At the conference, the Central Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 1818-QDNS/TW dated January 17, 2025 of the Central Executive Committee on the transfer and appointment to hold the position of Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Accordingly, comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, ceased to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term; was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, hold the position of Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, and was appointed to participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 1, term 2020 - 2025.
In his speech assigning tasks, Comrade Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, affirmed that Comrade Quan Minh Cuong is assessed by the Politburo as a capable cadre in Party building and political building, with sharp thinking, scientific working methods, decisive direction, close to the grassroots, and has held many important leadership positions.
In all positions, he always excellently completed assigned tasks, making important contributions to the overall results of the agencies, units and localities where he worked.
Congratulations to Comrade Quan Minh Cuong for being trusted by the Politburo and assigned a new responsibility. We believe and expect that with his capacity and experience, Comrade Quan Minh Cuong will excellently fulfill his role as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
