Responding to VTC News reporter, Mr. Do Dinh Hong, Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports said that the Department welcomes the music group BLACKPINK to perform in Vietnam in the near future.

"Inviting BLACKPINK to perform in Vietnam is not simple. We welcome and look forward to BLACKPINK performing in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City," Mr. Do Dinh Hong shared.

The leader of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports confirmed that he has not yet received the application for a license, but the Department will create all conditions for the Korean band's concert to take place in Hanoi: "We support and create all conditions according to Vietnamese law. If their application for a performance license meets all the conditions and is in accordance with the regulations, the event will be held in Hanoi."

Mr. Do Dinh Hong also emphasized that this is an opportunity to attract international tourists to Vietnam.

Previously, YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK's management company, suddenly announced that the top K-pop group will come to Hanoi to hold a concert. The Born Pink concert will take place at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi, on July 29 and 30.

BLACKPINK consists of 4 members: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa. The group is currently one of the leading names in the Korean music wave. In Vietnam, this group is also very popular. Not only famous for its music, BLACKPINK is also the representative of a series of fashion brands familiar to young people.

This is the first time BLACKPINK has come to Vietnam to hold a concert. This information makes Vietnamese fans excited.

Before their Hanoi stop, BLACKPINK embarked on their Born Pink world tour, which began in Seoul, South Korea, in October 2022. Since then, the group has been selling out concerts in North America, Europe, and Asia.

In Mexico, the group's revenue from performing each night is 230 billion VND. This is an unprecedented number for any music group in history.
