According to the Department of Fisheries of Binh Thuan province, in the period 2015-2020, the locality approved and implemented 3 projects to protect and regenerate coastal aquatic resources.
On July 21, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province said it had assigned the People's Committees of Ham Thuan Nam and Tuy Phong districts to coordinate with relevant units to continue monitoring, guiding, and supporting community organizations to maintain, promote, and replicate the results of pilot projects on co-management models in protecting coastal aquatic resources in the area.
According to the Department of Fisheries of Binh Thuan province, in the period of 2015-2020, the locality has approved and implemented 3 projects to protect and regenerate coastal aquatic resources. The results of diving surveys from 2017 to present show that the resources of baby razor clams are densely distributed in the waters of Ham Thuan Nam; many baby snail and snail egg beaches were discovered over large areas in Thuan Quy, Tan Thanh, Tan Thuan communes; soft coral species are blooming and developing in many areas. In particular, at artificial reefs, many species of seafood such as grouper, eel, mullet, squid, octopus, etc. have gathered to live.
