
In the first 4 months of 2025, the whole province has eliminated temporary and dilapidated houses for 689/971 households that meet legal conditions for residential land (see Appendix A) (reaching 71%). Accumulated from August 2024 to present, the whole province has eliminated temporary and dilapidated houses for 891/1,173 households that meet legal conditions for residential land (reaching 76%). At the same time, up to now, efforts have been made to complete and start the construction and repair of houses for families with meritorious services to the revolution that meet legal conditions for residential land with 188/188 houses (reaching 100%), of which 159 houses have been completed and 29 houses have been started. Regarding the removal of difficulties and obstacles for households that do not meet legal requirements (see Appendix B), as of April 24, 2025, localities have removed difficulties and obstacles for 174/867 households (reaching 20%).
In addition to the achieved results, there are still some limitations and difficulties such as through review, the number of households proposed to be removed from Appendix A due to inability to implement is very high (206 houses) including: Tuy Phong (140/223 houses), Ham Tan (22/63 houses), Phan Thiet (20/65 houses), Tanh Linh (16/207 houses), Bac Binh (8/121 houses), affecting the progress of implementing Appendix A of the Project to eliminate temporary houses and dilapidated houses in the province. Some localities have low results in removing Appendix B such as Ham Thuan Nam (1/204 houses), Tuy Phong (2/63 houses), Tanh Linh (9/203 houses)...
At the meeting, leaders of departments, branches and localities reported on the results of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. At the same time, they pointed out difficulties and obstacles and proposed solutions to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province according to the set schedule.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hoai Anh commended the localities that have completed 100% of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, including: Ham Thuan Bac (153/153 houses), Ham Thuan Nam (45/45 houses), La Gi (2/2 houses). Commending the localities with a high number of households implementing the project, including: Tanh Linh (216 houses), Ham Thuan Bac (153 houses), Bac Binh (100 houses), Tuy Phong (85 houses). Along with that, commending the 2 localities with the largest number of houses with legal clearance, namely Bac Binh (86/241 houses) and Ham Thuan Bac (73/109 houses). At the same time, commending Ham Thuan Bac for coordinating well with the province in putting 8 meritorious family houses in Appendix A and starting construction and repair immediately upon receiving the Decision on adjustment and supplementation of the Provincial People's Committee, contributing to helping the province complete the target registered with the Central Government.
Regarding the direction and tasks for the end of April and in May 2025, the Provincial Party Secretary requested departments, branches and localities to focus on effectively implementing the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, in which the highlight is "50 days to start the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province", considering this a key task of the entire political system. Continue to focus resources to complete the construction and repair of houses for households with revolutionary contributions; promote the commencement of construction and repair of houses for poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances that meet legal conditions, striving to complete before June 30, 2025.


For the members of the Provincial Steering Committee, the Provincial Party Secretary requested to well implement the assigned tasks and the Decision to inspect the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses for 8 District Steering Committees to ensure progress and quality. For the District Steering Committee, direct the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to issue specific written recommendations before April 27, 2025 to remove from Appendix A how many cases (with specific list, specific reasons). Request to transfer from Appendix B to Appendix A for cases that have resolved legal problems and request the province to allocate funds for implementation. Speed up the construction progress for the remaining cases that meet legal conditions...
For the Department of Agriculture and Environment, take the lead with the Department of Finance, the Provincial Party Committee Office, and relevant agencies to compile the list and recommendations of localities to propose to the Provincial People's Committee to adjust the list and allocate funds to ensure strict implementation, in accordance with procedures, progress, and legal regulations. For the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Binh Thuan Newspaper, and Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station, continue to promote propaganda work in many appropriate forms on the implementation of the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, especially during the peak period of "50 peak days to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province", contributing to the province's completion of the set goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.
As of April 24, 3 localities have completed all new construction and repair of temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, including: La Gi, Ham Thuan Bac, Ham Thuan Nam.
