BTO- Tran Phuong Nhung and Nguyen Thi Le Kim were awarded the First Class Labor Medal by the President for winning gold medals at the 2024 World Taekwondo Championship held in Hong Kong.
President Luong Cuong signed a decision to award the First Class Labor Medal to 33 athletes and coaches at the request of the Prime Minister in Document No. 216/TTr-TTg dated February 26, 2025.
Accordingly , the list includes 33 athletes and coaches in many sports such as Wushu; 2024 World Bodybuilding Championship held in Maldives ; 2024 World Taekwondo Championship held in Hong Kong, China ; The 2024 World Sepak Takraw Championship was held in China. All athletes brought home gold medals in these tournaments.
Binh Thuan has had 2 of its outstanding athletes awarded the First Class Labor Medal for their efforts and contributions to the country's sports, namely Tran Phuong Nhung and Nguyen Thi Le Kim - the two golden girls of Binh Thuan Taekwondo.
