On the afternoon of November 27, VRG had a working session with the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province on organizing the 2024 Golden Hands Rubber Harvesting Competition in Binh Phuoc province.
Mr. Pham Hai Duong - Deputy General Director of VRG, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest hopes that the province will create favorable conditions for the contest to be successful.
Attending the meeting were Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of local departments and branches. On the VRG side, there were Mr. Pham Hai Duong - Deputy General Director of VRG, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, Mr. Le Van Thang - Deputy Chief of Office of VRG and representatives of relevant sub-committees of the 14th Golden Hands Rubber Harvesting Contest in 2024.

According to the report at the meeting, up to now, the Organizing Committee (OC) of the contest has been actively implementing the steps according to the planned plan. On this occasion, VRG invited the provincial leaders to join the members of the Organizing Committee and give a speech at the contest to make the contest more solemn and successful. Through this, VRG also hopes that departments, branches and localities will create all favorable conditions for the Organizing Committee to decorate and promote on the main roads. At the same time, support in terms of security, traffic safety, food hygiene, accommodation for contestants and guests, especially foreign contestants from Laos and Cambodia coming to participate in the contest.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh said: “Binh Phuoc is considered the capital of rubber trees, so the province is very honored to be chosen by VRG as the venue for the contest. The province will enthusiastically support the contents proposed by VRG because this is one of the major traditional programs that the Group maintains and organizes periodically, is an opportunity to improve the skills of workers, and is also an opportunity to promote the image of the land and people of Binh Phuoc province. We request that departments, branches and localities participate in coordinating responsibly and effectively with the Group to ensure the contest is a great success.”
The 14th Golden Hands Rubber Harvesting Competition is scheduled to be held for 4 days, from December 14 to 17 at Tan Lap Farm, Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Company and Mien Dong College. To date, 60 delegations have registered to participate, including 54 units under VRG and 6 outside units. The total number of contestants is expected to be 240, including 72 foreign contestants.
