With the theme “Ensuring food safety, focusing on food safety in collective kitchens, catering services and street food”, this year’s action month not only focuses on disseminating legal regulations on food safety but also emphasizes the role and responsibility of each food production, processing and trading establishment in preventing poisoning and limiting food-borne diseases.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Director of the Department of Health Do Thi Nguyen emphasized the need to strengthen propaganda to raise public awareness of food safety; at the same time, step up inspection, examination, supervision and improve the capacity to prevent and promptly handle food poisoning cases, contributing to protecting people's health.

At the ceremony, representatives of the People's Committee of Phuoc Long town and a number of food service establishments spoke in response, pledging to strictly comply with legal regulations, not to use ingredients of unknown origin, not to preserve food in the wrong way, and to proactively coordinate with authorities in inspection and supervision.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the groups paraded on the central streets, creating a vibrant atmosphere, strongly spreading the message of action for safe food to every citizen.
Food Safety Action Month 2025 is a consistent message about community responsibility in every daily meal. As consumer habits change rapidly and dietary needs become increasingly diverse, choosing safe food is not only a right but also an obligation of each person.
