Speaking at the program, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vu Xuan Truong emphasized: The development of the reading movement needs to spread widely, especially targeting students in border areas and disadvantaged areas. On this occasion, the province launched two key activities: the Reading Culture Ambassador contest and the Binh Phuoc Province Book Storytelling Contest in 2025.

At the event, student representative Le Thi Thu Thao, class 11A8, Thanh Hoa High School expressed her desire to access many quality books, especially about technology, digital transformation and personal development. She also hopes that students will build a habit of reading and contribute good books to the school library.
The organizing committee donated books, bookcases and talking book cards to schools in Bu Dop district.
Also within the framework of the program, sponsors inside and outside the province donated 2 bookcases, 1,000 talking book cards, 700 books and notebooks to 10 schools in Bu Dop district.
Writer Vo Thu Huong, Chief of Office of Ho Chi Minh City Writers Association, shares reading skills at the program.
In particular, the event had the participation of writer Vo Thu Huong, Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Writers Association, who had a talk on “Reading methods and knowledge acquisition skills” with more than 1,100 students to spread the inspiration for reading and lifelong learning.
The organizing committee cut the ribbon to launch activities in response to the fourth Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, 2025.
Also on this occasion, the Provincial Library organized a book exhibition space and a mobile library to serve students, teachers and the local community on April 20 and 21. Thereby contributing to building reading habits in the community, promoting the formation of a sustainable learning society in Binh Phuoc .
