On August 18, Binh Dinh province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Artificial Intelligence Center - Auxiliary Urban Area project.

Accordingly, the project covers an area of ​​94 hectares located in Tran Quang Dieu and Bui Thi Xuan wards (Quy Nhon City), with a total investment capital of more than 4,300 billion VND. The investor implementing the project is the FPT Quy Nhon joint venture.

The project consists of 3 main functional areas: Artificial Intelligence Center; Education and training area; Auxiliary urban area.

In which, the Artificial Intelligence Center is a place for research, training, software production, digital transformation support, providing network security solutions, social security, artificial intelligence to serve people, improve productivity, quality, and service value.

The education subdivision is where inter-level schools from primary, middle and high schools are built.

The auxiliary urban area ensures the provision of essential utilities according to the characteristics of the artificial intelligence urban area, contributing to attracting high-quality human resources to Binh Dinh, especially human resources in the fields of high technology, new technology, and artificial intelligence.

Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that the groundbreaking of the project is not only a turning point in the province's socio-economic development process, but also a vivid demonstration of the province's determination to grasp and apply scientific and technological achievements into practical life according to the direction of the Politburo in Resolution No. 52.

According to Mr. Tuan, Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee has issued a separate Action Program on the development of science and technology in the province. It identifies the goal of developing science and technology and innovation to become the driving force for socio-economic development and sustainable development; building Binh Dinh into a destination for technology enterprises and scientists in the world and in the country.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan shared that the Artificial Intelligence Center - Auxiliary City will play a role as a highlight in the province's technology ecosystem, focusing on promoting research, training high-quality human resources and applying AI in important fields such as healthcare, education, and agriculture.

The auxiliary urban area will not only improve infrastructure and living environment but also create a modern, synchronous and environmentally friendly working space; a place to apply technology to life, and at the same time a place to nurture creative ideas, startups, contributing to building a strong technology community.

“The project is one of the core factors promoting the development of smart, modern and sustainable urban areas, helping Binh Dinh achieve the above goals and become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign technology investors,” Mr. Tuan emphasized.
