Speaking with reporters of the Investment Electronic Newspaper - Baodautu.vn, a representative of the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department confirmed the information that this agency has announced the cancellation of the temporary exit suspension for Mr. Luong Hoai Nam, the legal representative of Bamboo Airways Joint Stock Company.

The reason is that Bamboo Airways has a bank guarantee letter and sent it to the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department.

This information was also announced by Bamboo Airways on the airline's official website on the afternoon of October 16, 2024.

Specifically, Bamboo Airways announced that on October 16, 2024, the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department sent a document to the Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security, announcing the cancellation of the temporary suspension of exit from the country for Bamboo Airways CEO, Mr. Luong Hoai Nam.

Bamboo Airways mentioned that, after the reports and recommendations of Bamboo Airways sent to the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department and relevant management agencies, on the morning of October 15, 2024 in Quy Nhon City, the leaders of the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department and Bamboo Airways had a direct working session chaired by Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee.

According to Bamboo Airways, at the meeting, the two sides actively discussed and sought solutions to resolve difficulties and obstacles related to tax debts, in the spirit of supporting and creating conditions for Bamboo Airways to successfully implement the comprehensive restructuring project according to the Prime Minister's direction.

“Based on Bamboo Airways' commitment to pay tax debts according to the roadmap and the bank's guarantee of monthly tax debt payment obligations, on the afternoon of October 16, 2024, the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department issued an official document canceling the temporary suspension of exit for Mr. Luong Hoai Nam,” Bamboo Airways announced.

At the same time, Bamboo Airways added that “during the time Bamboo Airways gradually pays its tax debt as committed, the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department will not apply other tax enforcement measures against the airline, creating conditions for Bamboo Airways to stabilize its operations, successfully restructure and develop effectively.”

Previously, at a working session with the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province on the morning of October 15, 2024, the leaders of Bamboo Airways proposed to gradually pay taxes and committed to having a bank guarantee letter; at the same time, requested the Tax Department of Binh Dinh province not to apply the measure of temporarily suspending exit to remove difficulties for businesses.
