The venue, Phu Quoc Marina Complex, once again played a key role in the success of the event. Men's champion, age group 40-44, Nemenoff Matan (Israel), said on the podium: "This is the best experience I have ever had, tell the world about Phu Quoc".
The festive atmosphere is one of the characteristics of IRONMAN competitions. Hoang Xuan Thang, an AWA Bronze athlete of the IRONMAN world, commented: "The Phu Quoc race track is very beautiful. Personally, I think the Phu Quoc Marina complex is very suitable for players because everything is in one complex. There are not many Vietnamese tri-sport players, in addition to going out and conquering themselves, athletes also get to meet each other. Here, when we step out of the door, we meet each other."
