Interest rates fluctuate sharply after the interest rate hike race

Highest interest rates for terms of 1-3 months.

According to Lao Dong newspaper, as of May 25th, the highest deposit interest rate for a 1-month term is offered by MSB and Bac A Bank, at 3.7% per year.

NCB recently surged to second place for this term with an interest rate of 3.6% per year.

Following closely behind are CBB, OceanBank, Eximbank,and OCB, which currently maintain an interest rate of 3.5% per year.

For a 3-month term, the highest interest rate is 3.9% per annum, currently offered by Bac A Bank and NCB.

The next highest interest rate is 3.8% per year, offered by three banks: Nam A Bank, Oceanbank, and Eximbank.

Following closely behind are interest rates of 3.7% per year offered by MSB and OCB.

Highest interest rates for terms of 6-9 months.

For the 6-month term, NCB recently increased its interest rate and has surged to the top with an interest rate of 5.25% per year.

Next is CBBank with an interest rate of 5.15% per year.

Bac A Bank currently pays an interest rate of 5.1% per year for this term.

For a 9-month term, the highest interest rate is 5.45%/year at NCB, followed by 5.2%/year, currently offered by Bac A Bank and GPBank.

CBBank currently offers an interest rate of 5.1% per year for this term.

Highest interest rates for terms of 12, 18, and 36 months.

For the 12-month term, GPBank surged to the top after raising interest rates, listing an interest rate of 5.75% per year for this term.

Following closely behind is Bac A Bank, currently offering an interest rate of 5.7% per year. Next are ABBank and NCB with an interest rate of 5.6% per year; Oceanbank, MSB, and Nam A Bank with an interest rate of 5.4% per year.

For the 18-month term, three banks are currently leading with an interest rate of 6.1%/year: NCB, HDBank , and OceanBank. Following them are BaovietBank with an interest rate of 5.9%/year and GPBank with an interest rate of 5.85%/year.

For the 36-month term, the two leading banks are also the only two banks listing interest rates above 6.0%/year for this term. OceanBank currently lists an interest rate of 6.1%/year for the 36-month term, while OCB lists a rate of 6.0%/year.
