Commendation of "Elderly Exemplary People"

Mr. Nguyen Huu Khanh and Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Huan presented awards.

The conference reviewed the 30-year tradition of formation and development; the operation of the Provincial Association of the Elderly in the period of 2021 - 2025. The associations at all levels have performed well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of members; caring for, creating a healthy and useful playground and promoting the role of the elderly. In particular, mobilizing many families to well implement the policies and laws of the Party and State, contributing to building a fair, democratic and civilized society. The whole province currently has 272,372 elderly people, of which 216,460 members are active in 11 district-level associations.

On this occasion, 26 individuals were awarded the Medal "For the cause of caring for and promoting the role of the elderly in Vietnam"; 5 individuals and 11 collectives received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Old age - bright example", period 2021 - 2025.
