On the evening of July 5, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee organized a meeting to honor typical grassroots front cadres of Thanh Hoa province in the 2019-2024 period and awarded prizes for the online quiz contest "Learning about the traditional history of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the history of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front".

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Comrade Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Pham Thi Thanh Thuy affirmed: In recent years, under the leadership of Party committees at all levels, directly from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the attention and facilitation of the government, departments, branches, and organizations, the Vietnam Fatherland Front from the province to the grassroots has continuously innovated the content and methods of operation, focusing strongly on residential areas.

Performance at the program.

The Fatherland Front at all levels has diversified forms of propaganda, mobilization, gathering, and uniting people of all walks of life to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns. Typical examples include the campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; the movements "Solidarity, creativity", emulation "For the poor, leaving no one behind", "The masses participate in self-management of borders, landmarks and maintaining security and order, participating in building a clean and strong Party and government".

Contributing to that achievement, there is the responsible, enthusiastic and dedicated participation of the residential area's Front Committee - the grassroots front cadres who have not hesitated to face difficulties and hardships "going to every alley, knocking on every door", reaching every person, every household. Through meetings in residential areas to propagate, mobilize, disseminate, explain, grasp people's lives in the most thorough way, creating consensus among the people in implementing socio -economic development programs, clearing land, implementing local programs and projects, participating in solving problems arising at the grassroots level; mobilizing people to actively work in production, donating land to open rural roads, building "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe" residential areas, contributing to strengthening and consolidating the great national unity bloc. Thereby mobilizing all classes of people to join hands and unite with the Party Committee and government to successfully carry out the tasks and goals of socio-economic development in the locality.

Regarding the online quiz contest "Learning about the traditional history of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the history of the Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province", comrade Pham Thi Thanh Thuy emphasized: This is the largest contest ever organized by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. After 8 weeks of competition, from April 1, 2024 to May 26, 2024, the contest has received the attention of leadership and direction of Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, agencies and units in the province; the active participation of cadres, union members, association members and people from all walks of life inside and outside the province.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation emphasized: Thoroughly grasping the Party and State's policies and guidelines on the work of the Front, over the past many years, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Party committees at all levels in the province have always paid attention to leading and directing the promotion of the great role of the Front work in gathering and uniting the people of all ethnic groups in the province; motivating and encouraging all classes of people and social strata to enthusiastically participate in patriotic emulation movements, actively work and produce, making worthy contributions to the revolutionary cause and the cause of innovation, integration and development of the homeland and the country.

During the 2019 - 2024 term, closely following the political tasks of the province, the Fatherland Front at all levels from the province to the grassroots has constantly innovated the content and methods of operation, strongly focusing on the grassroots, mobilizing the masses to uphold the tradition of solidarity, well implementing emulation movements and campaigns; doing a good job of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; promoting the role of prestigious people in the residential community, ethnic and religious compatriots; actively mobilizing, supporting, helping the poor, encouraging, visiting, sharing, and supporting people when facing natural disasters and epidemics... Especially, during the COVID-19 pandemic and storms and floods, the Fatherland Front in the province directly launched and mobilized all classes of people, philanthropists, organizations and individuals inside and outside the province to donate, support, and join hands to help people overcome difficulties caused by storms, floods, and epidemics. At the same time, actively participating in building the Party and government; Participate in giving opinions, conducting supervision and social criticism on the leadership, direction, management and operation of Party committees and authorities. Perform well the reception of recommendations from voters and people to reflect to competent authorities for resolution.

In that common achievement, there is an important contribution of the Front cadres at the grassroots level, the core of which is the heads of the Front working committees of villages, hamlets, and residential groups - they have constantly made efforts, overcome all difficulties, are enthusiastic and responsible for the assigned work; always set an example, take the lead in emulation movements at the grassroots level, and propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to all classes of people.
