On the afternoon of April 9, a representative of the Traffic Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) said that the Vietnam Joint Stock Auction Company continued to put nearly 50,000 motorcycle and motorbike license plates "on the floor". These license plates are in the list of 1.55 million motorcycle and motorbike license plates to be auctioned at the 6th session.

Notably, the license plate number 50AA-999.99 of Ho Chi Minh City won the highest auction price of 2.68 billion VND. Right from the time it was "listed", this license plate was bid for nearly 700 million VND. The auction was dramatic in the last minutes when the bids continuously increased, with some bids reaching nearly 100 million VND.

Also in the auction this afternoon, Hanoi license plate 29AC-688.88 was bid for over 180 million VND after more than 15 minutes of being "on the market". This license plate was continuously bid for more and more and won the auction with 253.5 million VND.

Previously, on the afternoon of April 8, the motorcycle license plate 29AC-555.55 won the highest auction price of 317.5 million VND.

According to the representative of the Traffic Police Department, on the auction day of April 8, 60,000 car, motorbike and scooter license plates were put up for auction. Of these, 430 car license plates were successfully auctioned for more than 40 billion VND; 474 motorbike and scooter license plates were successfully auctioned for nearly 17 billion VND.

The total value of the successfully auctioned assets is more than 57 billion VND.
