(NLDO) - Since early morning, thousands of people have gathered at the Central Station of metro line No. 1, lining up in long lines at the entrances waiting for opening time.
The bustling scene took place when the clock struck 9:59, everyone counted down in unison to welcome the historic moment of metro line 1's departure.

At exactly 10 o’clock, the gates of Ben Thanh station were officially opened. The first passengers eagerly stepped through the ticket gate and entered to experience the modern space of the station. Although the control work encountered some minor problems due to the large number of people, the coordination of the staff helped the situation quickly stabilize.
About an hour before the opening time, the queues at the entrances to Ben Thanh station were already long.
