On the evening of March 31, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Binh Duong Province Police said that the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Tan Uyen City Police is trying to control the fire that broke out at a factory of thousands of square meters in the area.

At around 5:00 p.m. the same day, a fire suddenly broke out in a 3,200 m2 rented factory of Ms. BTTN in Thai Hoa ward, Tan Uyen city.
At this time, some people working inside discovered the fire and shouted to spray water together but failed. Just a few minutes later, the fire broke out fiercely and spread widely.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police then mobilized forces and vehicles to the scene to put out the fire. Because the factory contained many flammable materials such as fabric and thread, the fire burned strongly and spread to about 400 square meters.
Although authorities tried to control the fire, the factory's roof collapsed and many items inside were burned.

It is known that the factory where the fire broke out was suspended by Tan Uyen City Police in December 2022 due to not meeting fire prevention and fighting requirements. However, according to some residents near the scene, at the time of the fire, there were a number of workers inside the factory, suspecting that the facility was operating illegally.
The incident is being further investigated by the authorities.
