Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank) has just updated information on changes in shareholders owning 1% or more of the bank's charter capital.
Accordingly, the information updated to September 30, 2024, PYN Elite Fund (NON-UCITS) has increased the number of shares owned to 104 million shares, equivalent to 4.728% of capital at TPBank. In the previous announcement, this fund owned nearly 79 million shares, equivalent to 3.59%.
Pyn Elite Fund was established by PYN Fund Management (Finland), an investment fund targeting markets in the Asian region, including Vietnam.

At the same time, the bank also announced that the International Finance Corporation (IFC) is no longer a shareholder owning 1% or more of the bank's charter capital according to information provided by the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC) as of September 30, 2024. Previously, IFC held 25.8 million shares, equivalent to 1.17% of capital at TPBank.
According to information on TPBank's website, IFC has been an important shareholder of the bank since 2016. At that time, this organization invested more than 403 billion VND (about 18.3 million USD) in the bank through the purchase of preferential shares, allowing it to own 4.999% of the shares.
Along with the investment, IFC also consults the bank in the fields of banking governance, risk management, etc.

In the list of shareholders owning 1% of capital announced by TPBank earlier, the individual shareholder owning the most TPB shares is Mr. Nguyen Ha Long with more than 84 million shares, equivalent to 3.82% of the bank's capital.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank Do Minh Phu does not hold any shares.
However, Mr. Phu's son, Mr. Do Minh Duc, and daughter, Ms. Do Vu Phuong Anh, currently both own nearly 24.5 million shares, equivalent to 1.11% of the bank's capital.
Regarding institutional shareholders, FPT Corporation (FPT) currently owns the most TPB shares with 149 million shares, equivalent to more than 6.7% of the bank's charter capital.
Next is DOJI Gold and Gemstone Group Corporation with more than 130 million TPB shares, equivalent to 5.93% ownership ratio.
On the stock market, at the end of the session on October 11, TPB shares increased by 0.29% compared to the previous session to VND 17,500/share with a trading volume of more than 13 million units.
Over the past month, TPB stock price has increased by 17.52% from the reference price of VND 14,891 with an average trading volume of more than 24.7 million units/day.
